The purpose of the meeting was to highlight recent research on wisdom to a broad audience including both scientists and practitioners, and provide a forum for discussion on further wisdom research, including how practical wisdom can be enhanced in society at large. In addition to a series of multidisciplinary presentations, we hoped to engage participants in interactive dialogues that explore new approaches to the study and application of wisdom.
